This year's Peace Breakfast was held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month at the Golf Club of Amelia Isalnd on October 5. The keynote speaker was Lynn Rosenthal who has been involved in in women's services for 25 years as an activist, educator and leader. Community partners were in attendance and learned about the current state of domestic violence. Ms. Rosenthal outlined how community leaders, businesses, educators, law enforcement, elected officials, can effectively remove barriers and be proactive.
